Who says eating healthy has to be boring? You can use healthy ingredients and turn your food into delicious treat every time. Breakfast is such an important meal of our day, so starting our day with a healthy dose of vitamins, minerals and proteins is just what we need to stay alert, fit and healthy.
Have you tried Chia Seed pudding recipe? If you haven’t then you might want to do that right away because it is so easy to make and is filled with amazingly healthy ingredients.
Chia seed is an excellent source of Omega 3 fatty acids which is so crucial for your brain and heart health. Chia seed is also rich in protein, fiber, iron, calcium, magnesium, selenium and phosphorus.
Coconut milk in this recipe is an excellent way of getting your healthy fats, raw cacao is rich in calcium, magnesium, iron and antioxidants, raw honey has anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties.
1/3rd Cup Chia Seeds (buy it here)
1 and a 1/2 Cups Coconut Milk or any milk of your choice
2 Tbsp. Raw Cacao Powder (I love this brand)
1/3rd Tsp. Cinnamon Powder (optional)
Raw Honey (add it according to the sweetness you desire)
A pinch of Sea Salt or Hmalayan Pink Salt
In a bowl, mix together all the dry ingredients except for the Chia seeds.
Now mix in the coconut milk and honey.
Add Chia seeds and mix it gently.
Pour it into a pudding bowl or mason jar.
Keep it in the refrigerator for at least 5-6 hours. I like to keep it overnight so that my breakfast is ready by morning 🙂
Serve it with fresh seasonal fruits of your choice.
