Pumpkin, Carrot and Sweet Potato Beta Carotene Rich Facial Mask For Halloween!

Happy Halloween! Holiday season has already started and I hope you are not indulging in too much of Sweets because sugar is your biggest enemy if you want to have a clear, glowing skin and a good health. You are also more likely to catch a flu if your immune system is dumped by sugar overload.

Today’s Beauty recipe is as sweet as it can be but without the ill effects of Refined Sugar. These Superfoods are not only loaded with health benefits but also serve as an excellent skin food. This recipe is good enough to eat 🙂

Pumpkin, Carrot and Sweet Potato are rich in Beta Carotene and can do wonders for your skin. You can enjoy them as foods or use them as facial mask to reap their benefits. Greek Yogurt is a mild exfoliator that removes dead skin cells and make your skin glow.

For this recipe you will need:

Pumpkin 1/2 oz ( 15 gms)

Carrot 1/2 oz ( 15 gms)

Sweet Potato 1/2 oz ( 15 gms)

1 Tbsp. Greek Yogurt

1 Tsp. Raw Honey

Mix everything together and blend them in a blender.  Apply liberally to your face and rinse off after 30 minutes. This facial mask is suitable even for the most sensitive skin and you can also apply it to the under eye area to get rid of dark circles and brighten that area.  If you want to experiment you can also add a pinch of Cinnamon to boost the skin brightening effect. This Recipe will make your skin Soft, Supple and Radiant. Don’t use Cinnamon if your skin is sensitive and also avoid the eye area if using Cinnamon.
