Oil Cleansing Method For Eczema, Psoriasis, Rosacea Prone Skin

Oil Cleansing Method For Eczema Prone Skin

I had posted about Oil Cleansing Method sometime back, here’s the link if you haven’t read it yet. Eczema, Psoriasis, Rosacea or sensitive skin is not an easy battle because almost every skin care product available on the market has a potential to trigger or make the existing condition worse. I have seen people struggle to find the best product for their sensitive skin because its no fun dealing with it.

If you have tried everything under the sun to control your eczema/psoriasis/rosacea and haven’t found your Holy Grail product then I suggest you try this remedy at home and see an improvement for yourself. You only need a few oils and see how your eczema clears up within a few days (for some it might take a few weeks). This blend is also excellent for Acne Prone skin. Using it regularly will help reduce acne and acne scars.

Eczema Oil Recipe-

Jojoba Oilย  2 Tablespoon (This Brand)

Evening Primrose Oil 2 Tablespoon (Buy here)

Neem Oil- 10 drops (Buy here)

Seabuckthorn Oil 10-15 Drops (This Brand)

Mix everything properly and follow the direction below.

What Is Oil Cleansing Method And What Are The Benefits?

Oil Cleansing Method is based on a theory” Oil dissolves oil”. This method helps dissolve oils and draw toxins and impurities from within the skin. People are scared of using oils on their face thinking that Oil causes acne, which is completely untrue. Acne is caused by Hormonal Imbalances, Improper Cleansing, Dirt, Dust and Bacteria. In fact, this method is very beneficial for Oily and Acne Prone Skin. But you have to be careful while selecting the Oils that suit your skin. It might take some time to get used to OCM because finding a right oil and right proportion needs a bit of experiment but it surely does work.

Your skin will Glow and become Soft and Smooth. Doing this regularly can give you Clear and Radiant Skin.

Oil Cleansing Method Step By Step Instruction

You will need-
Steamy Water
Oil Blend as mentioned above

Take some Oil on your palm and rub your hands so that the Oil warms up a bit and apply it to your face .Massage for about 5 minutes so that it dissolves blackheads and other impurities. Now dip the washcloth into the Steamy water because warm water opens up pores and let the impurities and toxins come out. Now place this cloth over your face(don’t burn your face, make sure its not too hot) and let it sit until it cools. Gently wipe your face with this cloth and repeat the same process 2-3 times. Be very gentle to your skin, don’t rub or scrub.ย  No need to rinse.

My daughter has suffered from eczema for years. We have tried several different methods. I am anxious to try this blend of oils. I have heard of most of these oils, some I have not. Where would I find neem oil and seabuckthorn oil?

  2. 2

Hi Karen, I just updated the post with a link to the merchant site. You can buy Seabuckthorn as well as Neem Oil there. Hope it helps her.

My son is suffering from eczema since he was born and now he is 3 years old. I always feel pity when seeing him keep scratching and scratching. The seabuckthorn oil you mentioned, is it seed oil or berry oil?

Cherilyn, sorry to hear about your son’s eczema. Its Seabuckthorn Seed Oil. If its for him do not use Neem as some children are allergic to it. Just mix the other 3 oils and add calendula oil if you can and use it. Hope it helps him.

But please don’t use OCM on a 3 year old, I meant to suggest only the combination of Oils for a massage and not OCM for your son’s eczema.

Looks like a great recipe, will try soon. Thanks Lleonn ๐Ÿ™‚

@Sarah: why dont u try giving aloe-vera juice. I am drinking 2 tsp daily and my skin has reacted well to it. Now i feel much better and would like to share with anyone who is suffering with eczema or psoriasis. I can understand the pain one undergoes.

I had eczema 60 years ago when I was a child, so bad I scratched my foot almost to the bone. The cure my dermatologist used is off the market now because pharmaceutical companies make more money by not curing you. Oils are as good as anything you can use but baby oil ( without additives) or olive oil will work too if you can’t afford or find the fancy oils. Plus a hydrocortisone cream to keep the itch under control
